Hillside Tree Field - Original American Oil Painting

This was an exciting weekend. I travelled to Oregon State to watch a cross country meet. There were hundreds of runners at the Seaside 3-course Challenge. Those runners ran through some amazingly tough terrain. I admire their guts and stamina. The day was abosolutely beautiful and just the right temperature for running. Today's painting was inspired by some of the landscape at the starting gate. It is an 8 x 10 oil on gessoed hardboard. It was so much fun to paint, I started a larger version of it and hope to have it finished before too long.

I scrolled down to see all of your paintings - very nice, I like them very much. I wish you great success with your art work and your schooling!

I love the hillside painting very much. I live in Oregon actually. I was wondering if you would consider allowing a part of it to be used as part of a logo presentation for a client of mine in Gresham Oregon. Also what would you charge to allow a small section of this painting's image to be used in a logo - if you would even allow such a thing. I don't know if it would work out - but I think it would be beautiful. Also if it isn't sold - My client might be interested in purchasing it for his office IF he does go for the logo...so there is that too...
:)

Thanks,
