As fall takes over, my tendency to paint still life seems to increase. There are few weekend strolls and the weather doesn't entice me to leave my little studio. I paint more little gems such as this 8 x 10 still life. I started the painting with a value study incorporating only blue and red. When it dried, I went back and added the yellow highlights on the peaches. Technorati tags:
