The sun was out again today and although it looked like a summer day, it was cold. In my desire for the warmth of summer, I created this 8 x 10 inch oil painting of a maple tree in summer. I'm looking forward to summer foliage, long days, and warm evenings. Technorati tags:

such a lively tree, and I like the blue shadow (?) in the foreground. Unusual but very effective
