Yesterday I was hoping that if I posted a sunny painting, the weather might change. No such luck. The rain has poured down much of the afternoon and hope for some sunshine in the near future is a dream with which the weatherman teases his viewers. In spite of his unchanging prediction for the Pacific Northwest portion of the US, I'm painting an outdoor scene. This sailboat painting, completed with a limited palette, is 5x7 inches. Since boating season has begun, I'm looking forward to painting more sailboats, hopefully the next one will be sunny and full of the promise of summer fun.Technorati tags:
