As fall arrives, the first natural element to change color is the grassy fields. This little 5 x 7 oil painting on a gessoed hardboard was inspired by a road trip I took this weekend. As I passed by field after field, I noticed that there is still green foliage, but the fields are brown and colorful leaves are beginning to appear on the trees and shrubbery.Technorati tags:

great work..the fields changing..trees to follow. The damn wind is blowing all the leaves off this AM.
