This is a little 5 x 7 oil painting I completed a couple of weeks ago. It was a fun experiment which began with an orange wash. I like the way it creates a the feel of backlighting or a sunset. It must be an effect that works well, because I sold it before the paint was dry. I will have to do some more experimenting with this technique and see what emerges. SOLD Technorati tags:
