Stormy--Original American Landscape Oil Painting

After yesterday's mishap with my glasses and several disasterous painting starts, I dug around the house and found an old pair of glasses that will help me get by until I can get a new lens. They are scratched and bent, but at last I can see again! I was able to create this little 5x7 oil study inspired by the rainy weather of the Pacific Northwest.

Very nice painting. Well done.

The desire and need to create is stronger than wonky glasses and bad eyes! Now that, is determination!

Very nice piece. I hope you get your glasses repaired soon.

Thanks Ana--went in for repairs today--no insurance coverage until April. Wonky it will be until then. But you are right--the need to create is strong! I will cope. :)
