Crunch, Crunch, Winter Apples

A trip to the farmer's market today resulted in some wonderful winter apples and a painting, too! The apples were so fresh and crunchy, I had to hold back so I would still have one to paint. The result is this 6x8 inch oil painting, a fun project for a Saturday afternoon. Click here to view it in the Small Impressions Gallery at Etsy where it can be purchased for $75.00 plus shipping.

What a fabulous painting! The composition is perfect. I can almost taste the crunchiness of the apple. Yummy.
