Fawns in the Field

Last Saturday I went for a bike ride. The weather was perfect in that it was cool, but not cold. As I turned a corner, I crossed paths with these two sweet little fawns having a snack in a field. They were kind enough to pose for me while I took some pictures. It was a joy to paint their family portrait. This painting is 8 x 10 on gessoed hardboard.
