Today's subject is Mount Rainier in Washington State as seen from the Nisqually River bed when you enter Mount Rainier National Park. The park is full of lovely landscapes and options for landscape painting. This weekend will be an especially good weekend to visit because it is one of the national fee-free weekends where the park admission fees of $3.00 to $25.00 are waived. The weather is predicted to be improving with temperatures in the 70's--not too hot--not too cold, but just right for a comfortable visit. The painting is 5x7 inches on a gessoed hardboard panel. Although it is not yet for sale, I will list it at the Small Impressions Gallery with other small landscape paintings in the future. Technorati tags:
