Red paint can be a challenge to work with. To create the values required to replicate a three-dimensional object using red demands practice and preparation. I think I was able to pull it off, more or less, with this large strawberry on a 5x7 inch panel.

It IS hard with reds Nancy, and you DID hit it wonderfully! The darks, the shadows...and my favorite...the greens in the top!! Very nice piece!
