This 5x7 inch oil painting was inspired by the Trail of Shadows at Longmire in Mount Rainier National Park. The trail travels through a tall evergreen forest that encircles a sunny meadow. Bright sunlight creates the long shadows which gives the trail its name. Technorati tags:
