Today was the first day of sunshine that we've had in a while. Even though it was chilly and damp, I took a bike ride. It felt great to get out after weeks of rain. Lots of leaves on the road made for a colorful path. That's my husband in the distance. I'm always trying to catch up. What a great painting! It put a smile on my face just thinking of how much fun it would be to ride a bike up that beautiful lane and have the sun shining on your face, and the wind in your hair!
It is fun! When winter comes and days and days of rain, I miss it like crazy. I'm really looking forward to spring riding.
I love this painting and am gutted to see that its sold! Please paint more bikes in your landscapes, I wanted this one for my husband as it reminds me of watching him leaving for his rides
