Floral paintings are not my usual, but some recent spring weather has caused me to think of flowers. This little 4x6 inch bouquet was so fun to paint, I might do some more florals. I began with the dark centers and worked from dark to light, painting shapes and trying to remind myself to consider shape and color and not think about painting a flower.
