Recently I was lucky to be the recipient of a collection of red Gerbera Daisies left over after a family wedding. At first my thought was to plant them in my garden, then I arranged them on my patio, then I decided to paint them. This is one of a series of three 6x8 inch paintings that resulted from my fortunate inheritance. I love the red color and the delightful memories that these little daisies have brought to my household.
