Summertime

As I painted this small landscape, the lyrics to George Gershwin's tune, Summertime, kept skipping through my head:

Summertime,

And the livin' is easy

Fish are jumpin'

and the cotton is high

I'm ready for some easy living and in my imagination, these cows were enjoying a little leisure time. The painting is 5x7 inches on a Raymar canvas panel. This painting has been SOLD.
