Oranges in Glass

My daughter wants me to paint some 12x12 inch paintings for her, so I'm auditioning ideas on some 6x6 inch square panels.  Always looking for sunshine, I emptied a bag of oranges into a little glass bowl.  I love the color and warmth, but not sure whether this will become a larger painting or not.  Some more auditioning is in order to create some still life kitchen paintings.

Looking through some of your work and noting the small scale, your paintings are fresh and invigorating! I really like this one with the oranges! As for suggestions for your daughter's pieces... I didn't happen to notice any pictures of sea shells so that may be an idea.
