This is Cheerio. He's the fastest dog at the dog park. He so impresses me with his speed that I was inspired to paint him in mid stride. He doesn't just run across the field after a ball, he flies. There are points in his sprint where his feet don't even touch the ground. The other dogs know they have no chance at the ball when he's in the park, so they chase him and pretend they are part of the game. When this little 4x6 inch painting is dry, it will be for sale at Small Impressions Gallery along with some of my other small animal paintings. Technorati tags:
