One of the sights that I find most beautiful when I'm out and about in rural areas is the subtle colors of a meadow. If I look closely it becomes clear that those meadows really aren't just green as they might first appear. Instead there is a multitude of subtle colors--wild grasses and flowers. One of my challenges as a painter is to create a painting that displays those subltlties. This 8x10 inch oil painting is my latest attempt at painting one of those beautiful meadows. Technorati tags:
