Living in the Pacific Northwest, morning fog is common. Even in the spring it isn't unusual to find it lifting to reveal the lovely color of an early spring field. The two combined to inspire this little 5x7 inch creation. I used oil paints on a gessoed hardboard surface, painting quickly and focusing on the texture of the foreground.
