Yesterday I spent several hours at the off-leash dog park. It is definitely an adventure with every kind of dog and every kind of personality. Some love to romp and run while others are shy and hang on the edges. Some lumber and some sprint. Some yelp with delight and others just sniff the air. Today's 5x7 inch dog portrait is inspired by the love of sunshine on a K-9 friend.

What a wonderful painting! You've captured it perfectly and the colors are beautiful!
Nancy, that expression says it all! perfect. the colors are so warm and I love how you are not afraid of bright color, but you never seem to overdo it, either.
You are so fast and so good!
..so fast to capture a feeling, and so good of you to share that feeling.
Thank you for the wonderful feedback!
Great expression and the whiskers add that touch of detail that holds my interest. Very nice!
I'd know that look anywhere! It's just so cute when they look up, the nose starts moving from side to side and their cute little eyes squint from the bright sun! I love how you captured exactly that!
Love this, a very feel good painting!
Thanks so much--I'm glad the painting turned out so well!
